Exporting Eco-friendly Building Materials Made in the USA

The lightweight and high-strength attributes of SingCore are spanning the globe as designers, architects, and project managers continue to specify their projects have, “SingCore Inside.”

The only 50 year warp-free guarantee and full structure warranty

SingCore is the secret ingredient in building projects – especially those of large size and components with long spans – where certain challenges become apparent in translating the creator’s vision to real life.

Many problems associated with large, oversized projects or elements become apparent when attempting to bring an original design to life, mostly concerned with weight and strength.

Until now, very strong building materials were heavy in weight. This extra weight creates problems for the structure in terms of stress and strain over time. Lightweight building materials may be substituted for the stronger heavy ones, but compromises are made which may compromise the strength and integrity of the project.

This is the quandary facing development teams and precisely the point where SingCore provides the solution to the problems facing developers of large projects.

Such as issues in the tallest of buildings, not only in New York (where most of our product is shipped to nationally) but across the ocean, like in this, one of the tallest buildings in Bangkok, Thailand.

Fortunately, due to the extreme lightweight of SingCore building products, such as panels, posts and beams, entire containers of building materials could be sent from the factory located in Washington State in the USA to the job site in Bangkok at a fraction of the shipping cost of other materials.

Lightweight building materials easy to transport, less risk of danger or injury

The lightweight characteristics of SingCore also enables the materials to be quickly and easily lifted by crane without risk or danger of heavier materials while being able to be indisputably and safely manhandled by staff and laborers, rather than utilizing heavy equipment to maneuver the materials throughout the job site.

37 ft. Tall Pivot Doors

If you’re designing a conference center with 40 ft. ceilings and need a row of 37 ft. tall pivot doors to act as room dividers, you are going to be faced with the issues concerning strength vs. weight. In order to keep the 37 ft. tall doors from warping, your design team is faced with the challenge.

If you dared to think, “What if I could have it all?” If it were possible, you would like to have insulation for its sound deadening qualities and climate control. Then you could just hang insulated baffles, but you would compromise the function of have pivot doors and they could easily fail as they have no strength.

Problem solvers would suggest that aluminum or steel could solve the problem, but the weight of a 37 ft. tall pivot doors would be very, dangerous to install and very expensive for the 37 ft. tall pivot doors, as well as the heavy duty pivot door hardware, which would probably cost many times the price of the large metal door itself.

This is the common paradox facing the designers dealing with the weight vs. strength issue, especially in large doors.

This is where SingCore shines as it rescues the plight of engineers and contractors fervently attempting to bring the designer’s vision come to life. SingCore is the only Eco-friendly, insulated lightweight, high-strength building material that outperforms other lightweight building materials so much, that it is the only material that can be used to build a large non-warping door of any size in any application.

Insulated Strength and Rigidity

SingCore is the provider of highly advanced high precision panels, posts and beams for high-end applications and clients all over the world. These patented building materials are unique in that they are lightweight, stronger than steel, and insulated for R value and sound deadening STC levels.

The precision of SingCore as a building material is +/- .006 inch, which makes it a standard for high precision clientele such as NASA and the United States military. The strength is unmatched by any other affordable lightweight material (660+ PSI), making SingCore stronger than steel pound for pound, enabling this material to cover long spans with little supporting structure and deflection, achieving a new standard for less deflection under loads and warp resistance.

Warp-free Doors

It is now not only possible, but proven, that you can build a warp-free door of any available flat building material – even as problematic a building material as natural wood grain – and have the resulting door be guaranteed not to warp, bend, twist or otherwise fail for 50 years.

No other door can compare to the insulated lightweight strength of doors with Eco-friendly premium SingCore inside.

How Lightweight?

The weight of SingCore is easily one-third the weight (50% to 87%) of solid wood.

In most cases, a large pivot door is very heavy in weight, this requires additional shipping, handling and may require additional heavy equipment to handle the large pivot door on site as well as requiring heavy duty pivot door hardware which based on weight can be many times more expensive than the large pivot door itself.

When your large wood plank pivot doors have SingCore inside, they can weigh-in at 3 lbs. per sq. ft. Your 10×10 pivot door could weigh 300 lbs.

What design problems do you think they have? Mostly the same problem all large project designers run into, like the complexities of ecologically friendly, lightweight, strength and integrity over long lengths. Sing Core is the superior solution for these obstacles.

Photos here are of a container of Sing Core beams and panels used in the construction of one of the tallest buildings in Bangkok, Thailand. This is likely one of the only patented plywood product to be exported to Asian countries. Why? Much of our plywood is imported because they can manufacture it so inexpensively off-shore. In fact, their prices are so low that American companies have accused them of dumping product to bury the American wood industry, resulting in a 25% import duty on imported plywood products.

So, think about that… Asia importing Sing panels and beams… The only reason that they would do that is if it was the only way to solve their design problems; and nothing fits the bill like Sing Core.

From an export point of view, note that the shipment of product is ten times stronger than standard wood product, yet weigh 70 to 80 percent less than the equivalent plywood.

In a time when the United States is encouraging you to not to import by charging a 25% tariff on incoming plywood, why not shop at home and consider a structural technology that is far superior not only to import varieties, but nearly any other conventional construction material.

In case you are unaware of the Sing Core technology; here is a basic rundown:

The Sing Core is based on primitive torsion box honeycomb designs, but is exponentially improved upon the basic design.

Sing Core is manufactured with LESS

  • raw materials
  • labor
  • equipment cost.

Our unique manufacturing process requires LESS

  • energy for production
  • space
  • and makes less waste.

Sing Core panels are

  • true flat
  • fully insulated
  • sound deadening
  • lightweight
  • extremely strong
  • last the test of time
  • and are earth friendly.

That is why the supplier of high-end custom-built oversize products to the

  • President
  • Prime Minister
  • Kings
  • and the Pope

has sought out Sing Core as their solution. Yet, we make this technology affordable, even to compete with cheap imports.

If you are currently importing substandard plywood from off-shore, shouldn’t you think about being proud to say, “Made in the USA,” reducing your costs, delivery times and providing your clients with a superior product that is not only eco-friendly but “true green”?

Lightweight Green Patented Plywood Export to Asia

Monday, July 18, 2013    For Immediate Release

The first container of green patented plywood exported to Asia is the start of something new. Inventor, Peter Sing from McCleary, Washington, invites Americans to join his grass roots eco-revolution.

This might be the first container of a new, lightweight plywood manufactured in the United States of America’s Pacific Northwest exported and received in Bangkok, Thailand.

In a world where little is exported to Asia, especially in the way of wood products, like manufactured plywood because the end product can be manufactured more inexpensively outside the USA, it is interesting that one American company would find an open market in Asia.

SingCore-above-Bangkok-ThailandWhy would Asia import this particular product from the United States?

These finished panels are extremely unique and meet increasing demand for new manufacturing standards being adopted overseas and are now seeing the light of day in America.

The first concern is that the construction industry is seeking more eco-friendly, sustainable solutions for building projects.

In this case, one of the tallest buildings in Bangkok was seeking to find a solution that met the biologically sound agenda with superior strength. The solution to the problems faced by the Thai engineers was discovered using a simple Google search for “lightweight panel” solving not only the ecologically friendly problem, but was also extremely lightweight, super-strong and has a longer lifespan than similar plywood-type products.

The patented Sing Core honeycomb panels were manufactured under the guidelines and supervision of inventor, Peter Sing in McCleary, Washington, who also holds the patent on the Sing Core technology.

According to Inventor Sing, “Sing Core honeycomb panels are lighter weight than paper-core products; stronger than any material including titanium with the same size honeycomb grid for maximum compression; made using less energy and raw materials and less waste than any other similar materials; are manufactured from natural and recycled materials that are renewable and earth friendly… plus,” says Sing, “In a society that has become accustomed to most everything being inexpensive and disposable, we provide Sing Core as a solution that will last for centuries.”

While Asia has been accused recently of dumping plywood solutions (providing under cost in order to decimate the market) to the Americas, resulting in a mandatory 25% duty to offset their economic impact on domestic products, the American-made Sing Core solution is launching a grass roots revolution to return pride to the United States, while providing local jobs, supporting local communities and economies while reducing the greenhouse effect at home.

The unconventional strength is achieved by Sing’s patented design utilizing a vertical-grain wood honeycomb filled with a foam core, that when sandwiched between two laminates is 10-times the strength of traditional plywood solutions, maintaining straightness or flatness over a large span of material.

Sing-Core-Long-Carry-Bangkok-ThailandThis project represents less than a tenth of one percent of the solutions that Sing Core technology provides. Peter Sing says, “Sing Core can be used in thousands of applications from furniture manufacture to huge structural challenges. One practical application that we are known for in the USA is for large doors, because ours are so lightweight, stronger and more eco-friendly than anything pound-for-pound and maintain their integrity while lasting hundreds of years.

“We supply to the companies that build products for the President, Statesmen, Prime Ministers, Kings and the Pope, because,” Says Sing, “This is the only eco-friendly solution that solves all the problems of oversize integrity, strength, lightweight and will pass the test of time.” Although high-end clients are currently using this technology, Sing says he wants to bring it to every household stateside; then he plans to take his invention to the rest of the world.

Sing core is an improvement over existing wood components due to its use of less than 10% wood product with the grain perpendicular to the surface of each panel to form the honeycomb matrix sandwiched between two skins of any desired material; it is this design problem/solution that led to the development of his invention which Mr. Sing expects to be a common household name used to describe a new level of quality standard in manufactured products.

Sing Core technology can be applied to nearly any building material including (but not limited to) concrete, metals, fiberglass, plastics, even bulletproof skins can be used, like Kevlar.

Inventor, Peter Sings, wants to take his patented technology to the streets in a grass roots revolution to support working class America, as well as manufacturing facilities across the United States via his virtual training facility, “Lightweight University.” The intricacies and possibilities of Sing’s patented innovations can be shared on an equal platform by participating Americans, whom Sing regards as “consultants” rather than students.

The University is open to all Americans who want to help us build a more sustainable future while shoring up local economies. He says, “Of course the University is open to the manufacturers that we work with, but they are large corporations. My goal is to put this technology into the hands of the people, to put them to work so that they can support their families while making the world a better place.” In making his program available to, “everyone,” he is offering scholarships to those who might need a helping hand in embracing these technological advancements.

one-man-beam-carrySing explains, “I want to help the one-man operations, mom-and-pop shops and small businesses get back on a profitable track in life and help them achieve a better bottom line by producing products that are superior quality, at a lower base cost than conventional materials, including, scholarships, grants and subsidies for Sing Core for low-end solutions enabling them to compete with lower-quality inexpensive import products.”

What does it take to start up a Sing Core manufacturing facility? Peter Sing answers, “It’s easier than you think. We show you how to set up your manufacturing facility in less space than a single car garage, how to make your own Sing Press with our materials; and we even supply our students with Sing Core at their location on consignment. That means they only pay for the product that they use, as they use it, on demand.”

And it takes less time to learn this new green technology than you might think. Sing explains, “There is no need to go to school for four years to get a job. I can show you how to do this in two weeks, and I will even give you the material that you need to get started.”
