Standardized Doors

Are you searching for the best interior door to put in your home? Well search no more! Sing Core offers only the best doors to fit your budget. Sing Core’s patented door design reduces weight, increases insulation, increases sound deadening, and will not warp.

Traditionally manufactured interior doors weigh almost three times more than a Sing Core door. Sing Core produces hollow core doors that provide much greater insulation qualities. Usually hollow core doors have an insulation value, or R value, of 2. Sing Core interior doors boast an R value of 6. With this being said, you can save on your heating bill and save on the cost of replacing your old doors.

Sing Core offers the highest quality of over-sized doors, but also provides the absolute best standard interior doors. Standard doors sizes are available in 30”W x 80”H or 32”W x 80”H. Standard interior doors usually have a thickness of 1 ⅜”. If the door you are looking for is not one of the listed sizes then do not worry, you can contact our salesperson and we can create a custom door just for you.

Currently we are offering our standard interior doors with a fiberglass skin. Traditional standard sized interior doors usually have a medium density fiberboard (MDF) skin or are solid wood. Both of these materials are very heavy, increasing the cost of hardware needed to hold the door. Our standard doors can be used with hinging, pivoting, or sliding hardware.

The standard interior doors are being sold as unfinished door blanks so that you may finish the door as you please. If you are searching for a new interior door, then you have come to the right place. Sing Core doors are among the lightest on the market. Don’t think for a second that we compromised strength to achieve such a lightweight door. Sing Core doors are significantly stronger than doors comprised of traditional materials, not to mention modern hollow core doors.

Sing Core is the only company that guarantees every door to stay straight and not warp for 50 years! No other door company can make such a claim. Our standard sized doors can be used with a wide variety of hardware. You can hang the door with standard hinges, a pivot box, or even make it a sliding door. Sing Core’s lightweight design allows you to save on hardware costs. There is no need for any specialty hardware to support a heavy door.

You could even apply a proper exterior finish to the door for use as an exterior door. The possibilities are endless! Sing Core can customize any door you need, in anyway you may need. Our doors can have a wide variety of skins; including, but not limited to A/B Plywood, veneer, wood staves, steel, aluminum, fiberglass, HPL, MDF, and much much more. What Is A Pivot Door?

A pivot door rotates on a pivot box in the floor and the top jamb rather than traditional door side hinges, which is common in most homes. Pivot Doors have become a popular choice for entrances, creating a bold statement at your first point of contact.

What makes pivot doors so unique? The pivot door or pivot window is an opening system with a central or lateral rotating axis that allows for very large door panels. The craftsmanship and technology of a pivot hinge allows for a larger opening than most other types of doors since traditional hinges cannot carry the same kind of weight. Pivot doors are fantastic options for where there is a large amount of space and enough floor room for the door to be able to swing all around.

Grounded in the principles of modern architecture, a pivot door emphasizes clean lines and simple shapes. Pivot doors are well suited for pivoting walls and can also be used as room dividers. Until now, affordable pivot doors are thicker than average doors and heavy in weight. The large size and heavy weight causes extra costs associated with shipping and handling. Shipping is more expensive because shipping costs are calculated on weight. Handling is more expensive because heavy equipment is necessary for transporting and manipulating the pivot door into place for installation. Pivot door hardware is also based on the affordable pivot door’s weight, so a heavier pivot door will require more expensive and heavy duty hardware. Here at Sing Core we manufacture custom premium wood pivot-hung entry doors for exterior and interior use. Our pivot doors feature our patented lightweight insulated torsion box pivot door core inside. Which imbues each door with the unique characteristics of a solid core pivot door featuring the exact size, material and appearance of any style of pivot door, while remaining extremely lightweight and incredibly strong. Independently University tested at 660 PSI, makes Sing Core’s pivot door core stronger than steel pound for pound. The pre-insulated core also means greater climate control and noise cancellation between spaces. Also, the lightweight of Sing Core’s pivot doors, means less shipping, handling, transportation and installation costs, requiring less expensive hardware.

A pivot, not a hinge rather than hanging from hinges in the frame, a pivot-hung door swings on a set of pins mounted in the top and bottom of the door. Transform the look of your home or office by opting for Sing Core’s affordable pivot doors. Pivoting front entry doors provide an elegant look and appear to float inside the door frame. We are offering premium wood pivot-hung entry doors for exterior and interior use that cannot be found anywhere else. Let Sing Core build your custom pivot doors, custom modern entry doors, exterior mahogany wood doors, or any other custom door you can imagine! If you can create the idea, we can create the door. Every Sing Core door comes with a 50 year structural guarantee, something that no other door company has been able to offer.

Swing-out Carriage Doors

Are you in need of replacing those old carriage doors? Maybe you just want to spice up your home a little bit? Carriage doors are a great way to do this. They are very large, and yet so elegant. Carriage doors can replace your roll-up garage door. It will save you an immense amount of space! Carriage doors use a series of hinges instead of a track as the roll-up garage doors use. Using Sing Core makes your installation simpler, doors last much longer, and are significantly easier to handle. Easier handling means that your shipping cost will be even more favorable!

Hinged, swinging, swing-out, swingout, swing-in, swing, slide, or fold carriage doors for your carriage house garage can be found at Sing Core. The old-fashioned design, side-hinged garage doors swing open and closed from a hinged frame on either side of the opening. We create the most lightweight, strongest, and economically friendly doors. Traditional carriage doors are very heavy due to their size and structure, which causes them to need very heavy duty hardware to hang the door. The idea that carriage doors open on heavy duty hinges my not seem like a hindrance, but it raises the cost of hardware and make the door increasingly more difficult to install. So make it easier for yourself or your contractor to install your carriage doors by using Sing Core doors. Sing Core proudly makes any size (no matter how large) door tailored to your needs. Our doors weigh a third of a standard carriage door. Don’t think for a second that this weight difference alters the quality. Sing Core doors are the strongest doors on the market today. We believe so strongly in this that all of our doors are backed with a 50 year structural guarantee. No other door company can come even close to that!

Carriage style garage doors swing open elegantly and add a classy look to homes. Custom swing out garage doors are becoming more popular each year. Out swing carriage doors allow garages to be turned into living spaces, and they’re great for garages that have limited head room or living areas where you do not want to have all the overhead track. Horizontal Wood Staves

Give your home the humbling, yet astonishing ambiance of the Kekkai, the Kyoto code, by using horizontal wood staves.

What is Kekkai?

The Japanese principles of Kekkai are very simple. A Kekkai is a boundary comprised of a simple, often vague, line or sign indicating a place of no entry. In Japan, Kekkai can be anything, but commonly used objects for creating this boundary can be a piece of bamboo, pile of salt, a rock, a gate, or even mountains are considered Kekkai. The vagueness gives everyone an opportunity to interpret the exact meaning behind a Kekkai. Usually it is a boundary, but it can also be used to show respect. The use of Kekkai in this way indicates your position and how others should behave in the given area. They are used to convey a symbol of respect between all things, living or not. Kekkai embodies the “spirit of consideration” for those who use them and those who are aware of them.

Ninety percent of our customers who choose to have a wood stave skin on their door/panel prefer the horizontal wood stave instead of the vertical wood stave. Wood staves are a beneficial choice when choosing a skin for a door/panel. What are wood staves?  A stave is a narrow length of wood, in our case usually 6 in., that runs the span of the piece. They are aligned on the edges to leave no gaps. A stave traditionally forms the sides of barrels and is now a great material to use for your next DIY project. Stave lumber cores are assembled using blocks or strips of wood that are from the same species. Wood staves usually have a thickness of 0.125 in. while veneer is only 0.020 in. thick. Wood staves are 16% thicker than a standard veneer skin. This may seem small and insignificant but it makes the door/panel much easier to repair. The engineered construction of our interior doors utilizes fused, solid wood pieces that are laminated to create a solid wood stave face. Wood staves can be used on any door; including but not limited to: pivot doors, sliding doors, even standard hinge doors. Wood staves are offered in a wide array of species of wood, including mahogany, which is a beautiful species for a door. There are too many types of wood to list, but if you can think of it, then we can do it!  Our selections includes domestic and foreign hard wood lumber and softwood lumber. Our wood stave selection cannot be matched! Solid wood doors tend to warp, which is why most doors should use Sing Core. Solid wood doors tend to warp, so choose Sing Core for your non-warping needs. Sing Core carefully engineers doors to withstand the test of time. We create the strongest, lightest, and most eco friendly doors for a fraction of the cost you’ll see anywhere else. Our doors all come with a 50 year guarantee that they will remain this way. Think of Sing Core the next time you need a core for your door. Large Barn Doors

Eco-friendly large barn doors are taking on a whole new look and are a more sustainable solution for indoor and outdoor applications while commanding a unique stylistic approach to contemporary architectural design. The best extra large barn doors are emerging as featured presentations in all types of structures from residential and commercial to hospitality and industrial venues.

This new approach to the modern barn door is creating a stir as simple design of the traditional wood sliding barn door is now able to incorporate exciting characteristics that far surpass the simplicity of your grandfather’s farmhouse sliding door by incorporating this new generation of large architectural barn doors.

So, what makes this superior modern barn door so different from the sliding farm door of yesteryear?

While they may look similar, the large barn door hardware is much more sophisticated, but the biggest secret of all is what is found deep inside the best large barn doors of all time. If you were to look inside, you would find a patented substrate specifically designed to build the ultimate large barn doors.

Inventor Peter Sing is responsible for discovering and manufacturing this unique hybrid composite door core found inside the best modern barn doors today. Sing’s core imbues each barn door with astounding characteristics which cannot all be found in any other type of barn door, anywhere on Earth.

For instance, if your modern barn door has Sing Core inside, you will possess a door which is

  1. Eco-friendly
  2. Lightweight
  3. High strength
  4. Solid as a rock
  5. Fully insulated
  6. Warp-free
  7. Guaranteed 50 Years

Large Barn Door Problems

If you were going to make a high-end large barn door for a demanding client or visionary contemporary architect, you would have to hire a door engineer with the ability to design sliding barn doors which could be built to architectural specifications. The goal is to have an end product, a large barn door, which will not warp, fail, or require regular ongoing maintenance to keep it operational over time.

If the large barn door was quite oversized, say anything over three-and-a-half ft. wide and 7 ft. tall, you would find some extreme goings on inside such a door. There would likely be some type of welded steel interior framing and other heavy inserted in an effort to keep such a big barn door from warping, a pretty toxic approach to trying to solve the problems associated with large barn doors.

This is the biggest complaint with failing large barn doors: They warp. And warping barn door, if they are warped enough, will cease to operate, and if they are very heavy, this causes extra stress and strain on both hardware and the structure itself.

Large Barn Door Solutions

Thanks to Sing and his patented inventions and patent-pending solutions there is a way to make a lightweight high strength modern pivot door which can be guaranteed not to warp or fail for 50 years. There is no other way to accomplish such a feat without Sing Core inside.

Eco-friendly Large Barn Doors

Sing’s manufacturing facility is nestled in the pristine Pacific Northwest, where ecological approaches to building and creating almost anything is of profound importance to its inhabitants. So, Sing’s factory uses the best of both worlds, basic traditional woodworking craftsmanship and advanced cold-press technologies which use very little energy consumption. Sing also uses formaldehyde-free adhesive and responsible use of natural and recycled materials, plus being so lightweight makes them easier to ship around the world using less fuel than other barn door manufacturing methods, assuring Sing’s products have an extremely minimal carbon footprint.

114 x 134 x 2 MDF Large Sliding Barn Door

Lightweight Large Barn Doors

Sing’s patented and patent pending technologies empower his True Flat Team to create these amazing hybrid solid composite cores which weigh a fraction of other solid wood-based structure cores. Lighter weight barn doors mean lighter weight hardware and less stress and strain on the structure. This prevents the need for constant ongoing maintenance to the barn door, a huge savings over time.

High Strength Large Barn Doors

You might not need bulletproof barn doors, but you will enjoy having lightweight large barn doors that are stronger than steel pound for pound. Sing’s large barn door core material is independently rated at 660+ PSI and is featured inside some of the highest security doors and impact doors in the world.

You can see that Sing’s panels are so strong that the inventor can stand in the middle of this one-inch-thick 13 ft. panel with little or not deflection. That is an effective strength demonstration.

Solid as a Rock Large Barn Doors

Sing’s patented and patent pending door core technology is based on his solid hybrid composite invention which is basically a vertical grain torsion box panel where the grid which would normally be left empty is filled wall to wall with recycled rigid foam insulation. Once assembled and cured they can take a beating, and unlike other doors can easily be repaired to full structure strength if breached, which is more sustainable than replacing the whole door.

Sing says, “Kick any standard stile and rail and it will break. Kick my door an you will break your leg!”

Fully Insulated Large Barn Doors

Inherit in Sing’s large barn door core invention is full insulation throughout which offers huge advantages to not only end users, but the sound proof door and refrigeration door manufacturers who rely on Sing to provide them with the insulated substrate to make the best rated lightweight large barn doors fully formatted for sound deadening and climate control.

Warp-free Large Barn Doors

And Mr. Sing is the King of the Warp-free large barn door. All hanging barn doors move according to changes in the environmental elements which surround them, and to make matters even worse, this is more problematic when in use as an exterior door, where one side is facing a structure’s interior, while the other could be exposed one hundred present to the weather.

Sing proudly guarantees his large barn door cores not to warp, bend, twist, or cup for a very long time, in fact, 50 times more than any other door manufacturer.

Large Barn Doors Guaranteed 50 Years

Unprecedented in the industry Peter Sing fully guarantees his large barn door core not to warp, bend, twist, or otherwise fail for 50 years, including structure & lamination. Nobody has ever dared to go there, and Sing who supplies the biggest and best door companies in the world with warp-free door core for all their oversized doors says, “If I couldn’t do it, you would have heard about it by now.”

And they all say the same thing,

“It’s the only way to do it.”

For if there were any other way to make a lightweight warp-free door, you know these companies would do it themselves, but they rely on Peter Sing’s patented innovations to provide what would otherwise be impossible, so they can better serve their clientele.

Should all your doors have Sing Core inside?
