How much weight can slatwall hold?

SingCore slatwall is made of our patented core material. This material has seen use throughout the building industry as structural material in very large doors, walls, and other architectural uses. Thus, you can rest assured that your slatwall is built just the same as real walls using in top 10+ million dollar homes and bastions of industry.

Is all slatwall the same?

No. Our slat wall is far superior to that used by the competition. While we are not the cheapest wall on the market, we like to think of ourselves as the best.

Have you tried suspending a grown man, of obese stature, over an 8′ span with one of the competitions’ slatwalls? While I don’t recommend it, I do recommend trying it with one of our panels. With an overall strength measured at the equivalent of steel (600PSI) our panels routinely support tones of weight with ease.

What is slatwall made of?

Our slat wall is a core of wooden grids (a vertical grain torsion box), filled in by dense foam and covered by either paint grade plywood or finish grade formica (plastic) sheets. This patented core construction converges on the optimum of both strength, durability, lightness, and environmentally friendliness.

In order to connect the slats wall segments to other segments, or to make walls with corners and doors, we include standard in all our slats high strength industrial camlocks. These locks means you can securely join the walls with just two twists of a driver, yet guarantee that the panels are joined securely to withstand 100s of pounds of force.

How much does a 4×8 sheet of slatwall weigh?

Our standard 4′ wide slatwall segment weights about 72 pounds.

How do you cut slatwall?

Don’t bother cutting your panels, we will do the cutting for you. Every panel we make is built custom to order, so we can make you panels of any size or shape that you request.

However, if you do find yourself in a pinch, and need to cut a panel down to size, our core material is made of soft materials that can be cut with any wood working tool. Be aware that some of our larger panels do have aluminum inside, but the aluminum can be cut with any standard wood working blade.

Our retail slatwall panels are larger to accommodate the most versatile use as they can be free standing slatwall walls, replacing expensive slot wall or slatted wall systems. Sing they are available in a standalone 2-inch thick standard sized 4×8 slatwall panel (finished size 47.5 x 95.5 inches) they can be cut on site to fit any retail slatwall requirements your establishment may desire. Retail Slatwall 4×8 (47.5 x 95.5 in.)

Retail slatwall panels feature slatwall on both sides of the panel. If slatwall is no needed on one side of the slatwall panel, simply disregard its existence. Or, alternatively you could have your retail slatwall panels custom manufactured to different size specifications, or with slatwall only on one side of the slatwall panels at an additional cost.

Slatwall Colors

Sing slatwall panels are available in many colors. Standard slatwall panels are available in your choice of White slatwall panels or Hard Rock Maple slatwall panels. Other colors are available, but will require additional time for delivery due to custom manufacture.

No waiting on standard slatwall panels in either White or Hard Rock Maple, as these items are regularly stocked for faster delivery expectations.
