Sing Honeycomb doors that come pole barn method are oversized doors that are made of standard 8′ x 4′ panels, connected through trim or molding. This makes the seam(s) of the door visible.

Our pole barn method doors are the least expensive doors we offer. We charge standard 4′ x 8′ panel for the entry price point.
The simplest and least expensive way to join sing panels is to join in any way according to your budget and/or expertise.
Due to Sing Panels being so straight and true it is easier to join panels together because they line up perfectly unlike other building materials.
In many cases, for instance, standard 4×8 panels can be nailed, glued or channel-joined quickly and easily with satisfactory results.
Other options for fastening panels may include cam locks (see examples left and right) that can be pre-installed, making assembly and joining easy and more secure.

Thru-bolt Joining
One of the most inexpensive and secure ways to join sing panels is by utilizing a simple nut and bolt connection method, especially, if the panels will be routinely or repeatedly assembled and disassembled.
Stainless steel nuts and bolts offer the safety and security when joining sing panels.
Biscuit Joining
In many cases, Sing Panels can be pre-configured for biscuit joining at your site of factory.
Especially for large projects, this enables Sing Core panels to be sent individually, reducing shipping and handling costs, for assembly at your facility or job site.

Unless specified Sing Panels do not ship edge-banded as 93% of our wholesale customers do their own edge-banding when finishing their Sing Panel.
Edge banding can take many forms from vinyl and plastic to wood and steel. Sing Panels are not intended for use as an un-banded product and may not qualify for our 50 year warranty if un-banded.

Advanced Large Panels
Sing Core specializes in extremely large panels (up to 50 feet) that are extremely true flat and use our nearly seamless assembly process.
This is the most high-end and expensive process where we perform the highly specialized meticulous work in our factory yielding the high level of perfection that many of our most discerning clients require. See: our clients.
These must be manufactured in our plant to ensure accuracy with tolerances within thousandths of an inch and are more costly to ship due to the nature of their being larger than multiple panels that can be assembled on-site.
Connectors for Connecting
Cam-Locks
One of our many features is the ability to add fasteners/locks to our panels…one example of this is the “S-Hook Lock” with a turn of the hex wrench you can fasten or unfasten your panels quickly.
The “S-Hook” fastening lock that is attached to the side of these panels to allow for easy assembly of the wall system.
With a quick turn of your wrist on the hex key your panels will be attached to each other.
Barn Door Assembly or ‘H’ Channel
If you are planning to keep your panels as a permanent structure you may choose the H-Channel attachment feature. Apply your adhesive the slide panel into the channel on each side then either veneer over the panel and channel or you may choose to putty, sand and paint your panels to cover over the H-channel.
Tongue and Groove
Tongue and groove is another fastening choice especially if you using our panels for flooring or ceiling. Make a nice almost seamless connection but give wood veneer a hardwood flooring appearance.
Biscuit Joint
This is a modified biscuit joint attachment. Similar to the H-joint the you are using a single long “beam” as the connector and gluing them together. Best use is for oversize tables (such as vacuum tables) and oversize doors as well. Because our panels are made of honeycomb rather than solid wood, they will not warp. Our honeycomb is light and strong.

The paint grade door is the standard Sing Core Panel that we make. It is our most popular option due to the low cost. Even though this is one of our more affordable options, it still performs better than any other panel on the market. It is light, strong, straight and eco friendly.
Wood Grain Panels with Veneer
Our wood grain veneered panels are high end panels meant for staining. They come unfinished and ready for you to stain. This is a more expensive option for those that want that extra fine look of natural wood.
Our Wood Grain panels made of wood planks are a popular option due to the fine wood grain look without the high cost of veneer. These planks are more expensive than the basic paint grade panels but have a unique look and feel without losing the properties that drives people to buy sing core panels in the first place. You can join the panels to create a floor of almost any width. This also provides more options of floor thickness than any other flooring provider. Less solid wood means more eco-friendly.
Metal Panels – Steel or Aluminum
Custom Size and thickness of steel skins to reach the fire code you desire. Solid and sturdy they are the only high strength, lightweight, eco-friendly, affordable door in the world. Any size of window can be cut in the door using a CNC machine. The structure of sing honeycomb can sustain big impacts. Design your own bulletproof door with Sing Core steel panels. These panels are like solid steel blanks but without the weight.
Lightweight and solid fiberglass skins cover both sides of Sing Core doors. It has great weather protection properties and is almost impossible to dent. Use urethane as insulation to reduce energy loss. Windows are easy to create based on your design.
Our Ceramic Skinned Panels are ideal for use as fireproof doors. With the Sing Honeycomb as a substrate it will reduce the impact which is the major cause of cracking on ceramics. The skin selection of Sing door besides our regular wood grain skin, our customers have a choice such as wood veneer , solid wood plank, almost any skin can applied to our Sing core. Choices of skins can make it bullet proof, chemical resistant, highly insulated and/or provide sound deadening qualities.
Sing core is highly impact resistant, extremely dimensionally stable and super lightweight, doors made with our Sing core has a longer life span. If the outer surface is damaged it can be easily patched and repaired due to the structural integrity of the Sing core—the strongest eco friendly core ever invented.
Sing door cores thicknesses start from half inch and go to 6 inches. The size of Sing door can be from as small as kitchen cabinet door to a door as 16 ft tall by 24 ft wide and virtually any size in between or beyond.
There are 4 types of door structures used in a Sing door:
1. Solid door less than 4 ft x 8 ft
2. Barn door which is more than 4 x 8 ft connected together by plywood strips, wood trim or metal braces, which is an easy way to build a super large door, but you will be able to see the joints.
3. Oversize Paint grade door is several Sing core panel joined together using biscuit joints which hides inside the door skin to join several panels together to form a large door. Sing core panel joined together with biscuit joints is still more dimensionally stable than solid door which is extremely critical when building large oversize doors. The surface of a paint grade door has a very tiny seams that will need to be filled and sanded than painted but the seams will never show due to the stability of the entire door is made of Sing core panels.
4. Sing wood grain door are made of Sing core panels as substrate than glue on a thin veneer or heavier wood plank for solid wood effect. Sing wood grain looks more precision than solid wood door but more dimensionally stable and lighter in weight, and with more insulation and better sound deadening ability than solid wood.

Patented Sing Core: We put a torsion box in the SIP panel to make it better. The other names for our panels include sandwich panel, honeycomb panel and lightweight panel.
Sing Punch-Proof Doors
SINGCORE-The torsion box core makes it impossible to punch through and destroy.
As long as you cannot see the paper core hide inside the door, they will not change it to Sing core. Sing core does not cost not much more than core made of paper but is at least 49 times stronger.
Punch through a Sing door and you will break your hand. If you can manage to punch through a Sing core punch-proof door and don’t break your hand then you will get a free sing door from us.
The most common doors used in most homes are paper core doors. With one punch you can destroy one of these flims doors. Once the door is broken you will need to take it to a door shop to get if fixed or replaced and then take it back and install it. The cost is not only a door, it is how to dispose of it, take it in and out of the shop, build or replace the door and install it. Why not just buy a Sing door to begin with. Sing doors are not much more expensive than paper core doors when consider the life span and they are free. What is your time worth?
Stronger than Steel,
Lighter than Wood
Your door doesn’t have to be steel to be strong. Sing Honeycomb Doors are stronger, lighter and more stylish than steel and vinyl doors due to the torsion box core.
Sing Doors are more stable, insulated and lightweight than solid wood doors. The torsion box core holds the Sing Door Panel flat so that it willnot warp and sag like ordinary wood. A 16lb steel hammer will easily dent a steel or vinyl door, but not a Sing Door. Because Sing panels are efficient to produce, they are more affordable than solid wood doors.
